Turning Obstacles into Opportunity- Children's Book Discussion Group

Join us for Turning Obstacles into Opportunity- Children's Book Discussion Group. This is for children in first grade to third grade. 

They say when life gets tough, the tough get going. These books encourage conversation about overcoming challenges in life with cleverness and patience. We hope your child can join us! Facilitated by Jeanne Donato, Educator. 

Pick up your books and then come to the Library at 4 p.m. on the following dates to discuss the book. 

Tuesday, January 14 - Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, by William Steig

Tuesday, January 21 - Chicks and Salsa, by Aaron Reynolds

Tuesday, January 28 - A Chair for My Mother, by Vera Williams 

The books will be available for pick up at the Library, upon sign-up. You are allowed to keep the book for free, however you must attend the discussion group.
